Animal Shelter
Bloomfield Township, Michigan

This freestanding structure was designed to provide a humane and comfortable sanctuary for lost and strayed dogs and cats. In addition it is the home for the police department's K-9 corps and crime investigation laboratory.

The public lobby is bright and colorful providing a pleasant and comforting environment. The dog kennels have operable shutters and small pass doors allowing the animals to experience the outdoors and fresh air on most days.
  

Nature Center Addition
Sterling Heights, Michigan

The focus of the addition to the nature center is the 400 sf Entry Gardens. With its glass walls and translucent panel roof, it will be an ideal atmosphere to welcome visitors as well as to grow and display Michigan’s native plants year round. Also included in the addition is an expanded display room designed with full height windows to take advantage of the center’s wooded setting, an enlarged auditorium and additional administrative areas. This addition will have a positive and dramatic impact on this valuable community facility.
