 Sterling
Heights City Hall Addition/Renovations
Sterling Heights, Michigan
Due to the rapid growth of the City itself, Sterling Heights required a
complete reorganization of and addition to their City Hall offices. As
opposed to the previous layout where departments were spread throughout
the building, the City Hall offices and departments are now organized
around a newly created main concourse extending the full length of the
building and culminating in the lobby of the state-of-the-art 200-person
Council Chambers.
Additional amenities include a new cable television studio and editing
suites, an employee exercise room and, at the intersection of the existing
building and the addition, a beautiful recessed garden area enlivened by
sculpture and flowing water.
