Mirhar Retail Center
Southfield, Michigan

Telegraph and Twelve Mile Road is one of the busiest and most visible intersections in Southfield, Michigan. The southwest corner has also been an eyesore and the cause of a great number of traffic accidents. Three owners comprised the site that included an Amoco gas station and retail strip. The city planning department asked the three to retain Dorchen/Martin Associates, Inc. to provide a unified well-planned and attractive solution to the rehabilitation of the three properties. Working with the city planners, the owners and the state and county highway departments this project has successfully developed into a most attractive and safe solution. Two new areas of construction and one totally renovated existing building now provide safe and adequate access and parking as well as a new retail magnet.

Paradies-Metro Ventures Mid-Field Terminal
Romulus, Michigan

Raymond Design Atlanta, an Atlanta based retail store designer, contracted with Dorchen/Martin Associates, Inc. to assist them with construction drawing preparation, airport review and permitting for nineteen stores in the new Mid-Field Terminal at the Detroit-Wayne County Metropolitan Airport. The retail menu includes new stands, clothing store, regional based boutiques and auto related shops.
